I believe the value of therapy is in allowing people to share their stories and feel their emotions in an environment that is safe and considers their unique needs. Talking it out can help people to better their emotions, process difficult experiences, address unhelpful behaviours and work towards the life they want.
I focus on anxiety and mood disorders/emotional dysregulation; neurodiversity in adults (specifically ADHD); trauma symptoms and impact; burnout and stress management; relationship challenges and exploration of self. I work mostly with adults in individual sessions.
I use an individualized, integrative approach to suit every person and their unique goals. My approach draws from ACT, CBT, DBT, SFT and others; my personal style strives to validate emotions/experiences, highlight strengths and restore hope.
