

Angelica Martinez
Angelica is a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) and Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) who supports children and adolescents as they navigate challenges and build healthy coping skills.
She is dedicated to fostering emotional development and helping young people feel understood, capable, and supported. She works with children and youth experiencing illness, injury, trauma, anxiety, transitions, grief, and loss.
Using therapeutic play, medical play, bibliotherapy, and expressive arts. Angelica integrates child development principles to nurture emotional well-being.
She also has experience supporting children with diverse learning and behavioural needs, along with their siblings.
Angelica’s approach is rooted in empathy, safety, cultural awareness, and collaboration. She brings warmth and authenticity to her work, creating a space where children and youth can express themselves and grow with confidence.
