“I hear you. I believe in you. I care.”
Marta Salerno
Marta believes that therapy is beneficial because it allows people to share their stories and feel their emotions in an environment that is safe and considers their unique needs. She strives to validate people's emotions (because they are understandable), to highlight their strengths (because sometimes people can't see them) and to build hope (because it can be restored). Marta provides therapeutic support to clients who are or have been experiencing concerns with ADHD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma.

Her approach draws from principles of Cognitive- Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centred techniques amongst others. Marta aims to help people better understand emotions, process difficult experiences, address unhelpful behaviours and work towards the life they want.
Marta has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, a Diploma in Gerontology and a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology. Marta has experience working with survivors of abuse and is certified in suicide prevention.
